About

Nami OKADA draws inspiration for her art from the places she has personally visited. Her work evokes a sense of déjà vu and a feeling of timelessness in viewers, who each come from different backgrounds.
Since everyone has unique memories and experiences, they form distinct impressions of a particular building or landscape. This diversity of perspectives means that a single scene can hold many different meanings. A common interpretation emerges only when several people find similar connections to it.
OKADA's art comes to life by exploring the relationship between scenes that have gained significance through shared interpretations and those whose meaning is still evolving.
