Jumper Maybach’s painting explores political concepts through the frenetic and organic forms that inhabit his canvases and interrogates social commentary with subversive deftness. At times, the messaging is subdued, a subtle slow burn, while often it is hiding in plain sight, offering a juxtaposition between abstraction and literal that speaks to the duality inherent in his personas.

Born Ben Workman in 1963, the artist who would come to be known as Jumper Maybach formed ideas of self-worth and, like us all, self-hatred through the adversity and trauma of a socially fraught 1960s Corpus Christi childhood. These cornerstones of identity are acutely perceptible through the mixing of raw emotion and the perceived disorganization of color, line, and form that coalesce into a world of explosive instinct. His paintings beg the viewer to step into his world of intuition through his playfulness and, at times, a childlike wonder to walk with him to the better world he creates on his canvases.

Imagine a creative force who effortlessly bridges two worlds with unparalleled finesse. Meet Paweł Wojtak, born in 1983 in Warsaw, Poland—a true master of blending artistry, innovation, and leadership. An artist, advertising maven, and visionary manager, Paweł’s life is a vibrant canvas where bold brushstrokes meet strategic brilliance.

Graduating with honors from the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, he honed not only his technical expertise but also a profound sensitivity to form and aesthetics. His journey began in the realms of art and design, where his insatiable curiosity and experimental approach cultivated mastery across multiple disciplines—painting, design, advertising, and modern digital arts.

For over 15 years, Paweł has seamlessly balanced two professional paths. As a Creative Director at global advertising agencies, he orchestrates campaigns that harness the power of design, animation, CGI, and advanced post-production. Simultaneously, he pursues his passion as an oil painter, creating large-scale impasto works that resonate with depth and emotion.

In his art, Paweł rejects the hollow pursuits of a fast-paced, superficial world, championing authenticity, vulnerability, and profound connection. His paintings invite viewers into a heartfelt universe that values emotion over pretense, employing unique color palettes and layered textures to evoke strong, personal reflections.

Far more than a creator, Paweł considers himself a storyteller, a dreamer, and a source of inspiration for those who dare to view the world through both a commercial lens and an artistic soul.

With 13 solo and group exhibitions to his name, Paweł’s works now enrich private collections across Poland and Europe.

I purchased my first plane ticket to France at twenty-years-old, leaving behind all that was familiar to me.
Little did I know the years growing up in the quiet plains of West Africa would make such an impression on my life- or that sharing it with the rest of the world, would become my destiny.

From the Northern part of Burkina Faso, Sabce, Africa, my family and I, of the Fulani Tribe, were nomadic herders. We led sheep, goat, and chickens to greener pastures. I was the youngest of seven brothers and two sisters, and one of three kids in my entire village that had that opportunity to attend school.

However like most other kids, four months of the year, after school, and on weekends, I, too, was a herder. But it was on those two-mile hikes to and from school each day, I recall questioning our way of life.

We ate to survive. Being vegetarian, our main staples were millet and vegetable. And dry seasons in the region were the most difficult as many animals would starve to death. To me, that was very painful as the animals became an extension of me. I was reminded that each generation before me and after me was destined to remain a herder.

Though I loved the lifestyle for what it gave me: a deep connection to the animal kingdom (sheep would sleep beside and on me), the unforgettable beauty of rainy seasons, and an appreciation for nature that would stay with me forever- I became restless and desired change.

My family thought I was crazy to want more from life. My "sky is wide open" philosophy had them concerned that I was denying what our ancestors gave and did for us. But I couldn't help it, something nagged at me. I wanted it to live on, so I began drawing my feelings and nature around me at twelve-years-old.
