Roy Lichtenstein I Love Liberty

Roy Lichtenstein’s I Love Liberty (1982) merges Pop Art’s crisp graphic punch with an instantly recognizable American symbol. Cropping the figure into bold fragments, Lichtenstein turns the Statue of Liberty into a powerful design—hard edges, clean color planes, and dynamic diagonals that create a sense of movement and modernity. The result is both celebratory and coolly analytical: an image about freedom, but also about how images become icons.

This work is a screenprint in colours on wove paper, signed in pencil, dated and numbered, from an edition of 250. Sheet size: 38 1/2 × 27 1/8 in (as noted). A strong example of Lichtenstein’s 1980s printmaking—high impact on the wall, instantly legible, and anchored in one of the most enduring motifs of American visual culture.

Joan Miró Femme

Joan Miró’s Femme (1978) captures the artist at his most direct and poetic: a few decisive lines, full of movement, conjure a figure that feels both playful and timeless. This late drawing distills Miró’s language into pure gesture—where the human form becomes symbol, and symbol becomes rhythm. There is an intimacy here that contrasts beautifully with his more colorful, large-scale works: it’s Miró “up close,” immediate and personal, as if we are witnessing the moment with him.

Executed in graphite on grey cardboard, the work measures 35 × 25.3 cm (13 3/4 × 10 in.) and is signed lower right. It is titled and dated on the reverse and certified by ADOM, providing strong documentary support for collectors.

Please contact us for availability and further details.

Russell Young Marilyn Portrait California (Beverly Lavender + Black)

Russell Young’s Marilyn Portrait California (Beverly Lavender + Black) (2014) distills Hollywood mythology into a single, magnetic image. Working with iconic celebrity portraits, Young doesn’t just celebrate glamour—he exposes its texture: the grain of the photograph, the blur of memory, the way an image becomes a symbol. The lavender-and-blackpalette gives Marilyn a cool, nocturnal presence, balancing seduction and distance in equal measure.

Materially, the work is built to be seen in person. The enamel screenprint is enriched with diamond dust on linen, creating a shimmering surface that shifts with light and viewpoint—an effect that amplifies the “California” aura of spectacle and sun-fade, even in darker tones.

Enamel and diamond dust screenprint on linen, 68.58 × 52.07 cm (27 × 20 1/2 in.), signed and titled on the reverse. A detailed condition overview and documentation can be shared on request, and we can arrange professional packing and insured shipping.
Please contact us for availability.

Russell Young Marilyn Monroe Goddess (Flat Gold + Black)

Russell Young’s Marilyn Monroe Goddess (Flat Gold + Black) (2011) revisits one of the most enduring icons of 20th-century culture through the lens of contemporary Pop. Young is known for transforming celebrity imagery into powerful, tactile works that sit between glamour and critique—capturing both the allure of fame and its fragility. In this composition, the flat gold and deep black palette heightens the sense of monumentality, while the surface treatment adds a shifting, luminous presence that changes with the light.
Executed with acrylic paint, enamel screenprint and diamond dust on linen, the work measures 160 × 123 cm (63 × 48 1/2 in.) It is signed and titled on the reverse. Additional photographs, a condition report, and full documentation are available upon request, along with professional packing and insured shipping options.

Andy Warhol Shoe

Andy Warhol’s Shoe (c. 1955) is a rare early work on paper that captures the artist’s distinctive line and elegance before his Pop breakthrough. Created in the mid-1950s—during Warhol’s formative years as a commercial illustrator—this watercolor reflects his enduring fascination with fashion, surface, and the refinement of everyday objects into compelling images. The subject is simple and direct, yet the handling is confident and lyrical, offering an intimate window into Warhol’s visual thinking at the start of his career.

Executed as watercolor on wove paper, this work is stamped on the reverse by the Estate of Andy Warhol and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc., New York, reinforcing the importance of documentation and authenticity for works from this period. Additional photographs, condition report, and full documentation are available upon request, along with professional packing and insured shipping options.

Roy Lichtenstein Cow Going Abstract

Roy Lichtenstein’s Cow Going Abstract (1982) is a playful, highly recognizable Pop image that turns an everyday subject into a bold, graphic icon. In this work, Lichtenstein pushes the motif through increasing simplification, emphasizing his signature language—clean contour lines, flat areas of color, and a strong sense of visual rhythm—while nodding to the idea of “abstraction” through repetition and reduction. Presented as a triptych, the format reinforces the progression and gives the work a striking presence on the wall.

This work is a screenprint in colors (triptych), signed and numbered, from an edition of 150. Sheet size: 65.5 × 77.5 cm (each).
We can provide additional images and full documentation upon request, as well as professional packing and insured shipping options.
For availability and price, please contact Galería Cortina.

Roy Lichtenstein Water Lily

Roy Lichtenstein’s Water Lily (1993) is a striking late-period Pop Art screenprint where bold contour lines and flat, saturated color transform a classic still-life motif into an unmistakably modern image. The composition plays with Lichtenstein’s signature visual language—graphic clarity, rhythmic patterning, and a carefully controlled palette—creating a work that reads instantly from across a room.
This edition is a screenprint in five colors on Lana Royale paper, signed and dated in pencil, from a limited edition of 130. The work is referenced in the catalogue raisonné as Corlett 281.
We can provide additional images and full documentation upon request, as well as packing and insured shipping options.
For availability and price, please contact Galería Cortina.

Joan Miró i Ferrà (Barcelona, April 20, 1893-Palma de Mallorca, December 25, 1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, engraver and ceramics artist. In his works he reflected his interest in the subconscious, in the "childish" and in the culture and traditions of Catalonia. Although he is associated with abstract art for his mature style of stylized and imaginary forms, in his youth he began with figuration, with strong Fauvist, Cubist and Expressionist influences, moving on to flat painting with a certain naive air.
After his stay in Paris, his work becomes more fanciful and dreamlike, coinciding with the points of surrealism and joining this movement.
