About

I was born in Ukraine in 1973 in the city of Dnepr, a city of
steelworkers and rocket builders, which did not promise an artistic
future at all, but also in the city of one of the best opera theaters,
the backstage of which captivated me from my childhood. So I decided to
become a stage designer, and after graduating from the Vuchetich Art
School in Dnepropetrovsk, I entered the Academy of Arts and
Architecture in Kiev, at the faculty of scenographic, I studied under
the scenographic designer and artist Professor D.D. Lider. So I
decided to become a stage designer, and after graduating from the
Vuchetich Art School in Dnepropetrovsk, I entered the Academy of Arts
and Architecture in Kiev, at the faculty of stage design, I studied
under the genius stage designer and artist, Professor D.D. Lider.
Freedom of creative search, experience of knowledge of human
passions - that's what the years of work in theater gave me.
Mystical ethno-romanticism and Ukrainian pop-art, that is how I
defined my niche of art, which is close to me now. I consider myself
a Ukrainian artist not in the formal sense, but in essence. My
interest lies in the plane of national self-identification and it is
my scenographic experience allows me to find visual ways of expression
in different techniques, combining elements of photography with
painting, graphics and light installations. Although my paths with the
theater have diverged, I try to realize and illustrate the play of the
best playwright of all time, the enigmatic and incomprehensible
creator of all things. It is with him that I have an ongoing creative
dialogue, I want him to look into the world and communicate with the
viewer with my eyes, my feelings and my colors.
I am very active in exhibitions.
From the very beginning of Russia's military aggression on the
territory of Ukraine I have been in Kyiv, where I live and work.
My works are in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, USA, Belarus
and Russia.
