About

Since its very beginning in late 2016, 11 [HH] has been pursuing a strong gallery program focusing on avantgarde and spanning from visual arts to performance arts, to the new frontiers of NFTs, through the participations of key players (galleries, institutions and foundations) in order to open new
paths to dialog and cultural exchange across the ocean.

That's the case of this special project for PBM+C 2023 with NAIF Gallery, active in Miami, Milan, Rome and London. Naif international Gallery was established in 2007 by MASSIMO MALTESE with the scope of opening a dialogue between Italian and American artists. In the last decade the gallery has expanded its artists portfolio globally.

Luis E Toledo, 'The Divine Intoxication', 2023, 56x28 in.

Born in Santa Clara in Cuba in 1989, Luis' work opens
a door to a dreamlike magical world, where he creates
a parallel universe, a personal reflection of reality. The
characters emerge from a personal unconscious state,
converging in this esoteric world where they have
conflicts, express their different ideas in their own
language, have traditions and goals; all based on their
individual essence.
As a child, he saw his father (the Cuban postwar
painter Enrique Toledo) study the great artists from the
Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque. At the same time,
his imagination expanded seeing his mother giving life
to characters from short stories and comic books. As
an actress performing in children's theaters, her ability
to communicate through puppets and marionettes
foster Luis' need to find spaces beyond reality.

"Not satisfied by the world we live in, I create a surreal
refuge that helps me face everyday life...For me, every
piece is a representation of a living memory. I remove
organic and physical presences from my world and
transfer them into this magical place as a creative
recourse".

made in the mountains of the
Sicilian hinterland.

Croce has exhibited at the 51st Venice
Biennale and at the 10th and 11th Venice

Pietro Campagnoli has got the Asperger Syndrome, a form of autism that gave him a high I.Q. but bad relationship skills. At High School he always had problems in understanding the thoughts of his classmates and how to relate with them. With his sculptures he creates casts with blankets, wet with gypsum, placing them on living bodies and waiting for them to solidify. In these casts he tries to reproduce the shape of the human being, like a photograph of the bodies. His works never have definite faces, because it is impossible for him to understand people’s emotions, due to his syndrome. They are always empty, because the internal body has evolved and disappeared, and the “envelope” remains, like a chrysalis.
Pietro’s work is born by the attempt to describe metaphorically his past. The most violent experiences make us the most resilient individuals His artworks remind him that the storm can be fought and defeat, if an unwavering willpower supports your mind against the lashes of sensitive experiences.

Pietro is born in Turin in 1994, where he lives and works. He started working as a professional in 2011, under institutional patronages of primary importance such as: Regione Piemonte, Fondazione CRT Cassa di Risparmio di Torino, Compagnia di San Paolo, Opera Barolo, Dipartimento Educazione del Castello di Rivoli, Dipartimento Educazione Fondazione Merz, Fondazione Pistoletto, Centro Studi Bianca Tosatti Parma.
