Mariana Villafane was born in 1972. She lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
After the completion of her studies in architecture and visual arts, she has been producing a comprehensive and eclectic body of work, which explores different artistic media, such as photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, video art and installations.
She is an internationally recognized artist, who has taken part in a variety of collective exhibitions all over the world, in Buenos Aires, Bogota, Miami, Lima, Santiago, New York and Berlin.
