  • Kevin Barrett  (+)

    Biography : Kevin Barrett was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1962; his family relocated to New York several years later. Barrett studied sculpture at the Maryland Institute of Art as well as the School of Visual Arts in New York. Upon completion of his studies, he was employed by the Shidoni Foundry in New Mexico where he oversaw fabrication and bronze casting for many years. Considered an expert in his medium, as a young artist he consulted independently with and built sculptures for a number of well-known artists in New York, New Mexico and Europe including Herbert Ferber, Tom Wesselmann and Alan Houser among others. He continues to be sought after for advice and consultation in creating and maintaining metal sculpture. Barrett set up his first studio in Miami, before returning to New York City where he maintained a studio for over 20 years. He recently relocated to Duxbury, MA where he currently resides with his family. Barrett’s work has been widely exhibited throughout the US and Europe and can be found in the collections of the Kruizenga Art Museum, Vero Beach Museum, The Interlocken Center for the Arts, Saugatuck Center for the Arts, The City of Coral Springs, and important, private collections world-wide.

  • Rogan Brown  (+)

    Biography : Rogan Brown holds an MA in Cultural Studies from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. He divides his time between London where his practice is centered and his studio in the wild mountains of the Cevennes National Park in the south of France, where he finds inspiration and creates his work. Since taking his work public in 2012 Brown has participated in a series of group shows in London and has won a number of notable prizes including Best Installation at the National Open Art competition 2013 and the Florence-Shanghai Prize 2014 which will see his work exhibited in Shanghai in July 2014. His work was recently featured in a book dedicated to artists working in paper entitled “Paper Play”.     Detailed Description : Rogan Brown creates abstract and sculptural wall reliefs. The large, hand cut pieces are dissected from sheet after sheet with meticulous detail and precision, capturing the patterns and motifs that occur in the natural world. Rogan's paper sculptures explore the architecture of nature and organic growth.

  • Elizabeth Gregory-Gruen  (+)

    Biography : Elizabeth Gregory-Gruen grew up in Chicago. There, the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright inspired her to experiment with 3-dimensional design using natural light and shadow. Elizabeth came to New York City in 1985 to study Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design. After graduating in 1989, she went on to work at top design houses. Her work has appeared in major fashion magazine editorials including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and InStyle. She currently resides in New York City with her husband Bob Gruen.

  • Norman Mooney  (+)

    Biography : Norman Mooney was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1971. He studied at the Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork and completed his BFA at the National College of Art in Dublin in 1992. He then received the distinguished honor of participating in the Third Degree program at the Irish Museum of Modern Art from 1992 to 1993. In 1994 he relocated to New York City and has been exhibiting locally and internationally for more than 20 years. Recent exhibitions include In Sight at Marso Gallery in Mexico City, What Happens today will last Forever at Causey Contemporary in New York and Meeting in Brooklyn presented at Landcommanderij Alden Biesen, Alden Biesen in Belgium.   Norman makes works that are at once physical and metaphysical. His works explore the elemental and cyclical synergies of nature. Materiality, pattern, scale and experience are key concerns within his practice. Norman makes sculpture, interior and exterior installations, drawings and works on paper; his methodology is one of experimentation and process with materials such as smoke, glass, steel and resin. In 2000 he established WorkSpace11 in New York City where he works with a team of architects and engineers.
