Romina Ressia is a multiawarded artist from Argentina titled "Photographer of the year" by the International Color Awards 2017. Her passion about art started at young age but it was not until her late twenties, after graduating in Economics, that she decided to dedicate her life to Photography. She studied Photography, Fashion Photography, Art Direction and Scenery in different places including the prestigious Institute of the Teatro Colon.
Her works are represented by Galleries in the UK, Switzerland & Belgium, and they have been exhibited in major cities such as New York, Milan, London, Paris, Brussels, Zurich & Buenos Aires, among many others. And it has been featured by medios like The Telegraph, The Guardian, Time, The British Journal of Photography, The Huffington Post, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, Newsweek Japan, Interview Magazine, El Pais Spain, Die Zeit Germany, among many others.
Owner of a pictorial style, she is well known for her anachronisms and the use of juxtaposition, irony and absurd to approach modern issues.
Last year she was selected by the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society (one of the five most influential forums worldwide according to the Financial Times) as one of the 17 young woman who are on their way to become influential figures of the world.
